  1. Who owns my website, my domain and my customer list, me or you?

    Good answer
    "Your domain, content and customer list are yours. Anything that isn't is spelled out in writing."
    Red flag
    "Don't worry about it, we look after all that."

  2. If I stopped paying you tomorrow, what do I still keep?

    Good answer
    "Your domain, content and customer details. If the site needs buying out, here's the price in writing."
    Red flag
    "We'd have to check," or no straight answer.

  3. When someone asks an AI for a tradie in my suburb, why doesn't my name come up?

    Good answer
    A clear reason and a plan, like "nothing online clearly says what you do, where, and why you're trusted."
    Red flag
    "AI isn't worth worrying about yet."

  4. Are my name, address and phone number identical everywhere online?

    Good answer
    "Yes, we checked. Here's every place you're listed."
    Red flag
    "They should be," or a long pause.

  5. What is the one thing you are getting me known for?

    Good answer
    One job in one area, in a sentence, like "blocked drains in Frankston."
    Red flag
    "Brand awareness," or a list of everything you do.
