What we did

One job, three parts, all ours to run.

Before: Entire Excavations had no website and a Google listing pointing at Instagram
Before, July 2026: no website, 2 reviews from January 2025.
After: the Entire Excavations homepage we built
After: entireexcavations.com.au, live and checkable.

The website and its SEO

  • A website, built in a week9 pages on 27 July 2026 from a standing start: home, about, services, site cuts, driveways, rock supply, projects, areas, FAQ and contact. Tap to call on every screen, his own job photos, no stock.
  • A page for every job he wants more ofSite cuts, driveways and rock supply each got their own page, because those are the jobs Chris asked for. The site is 14 pages now.
  • Real job pages, in his own wordsSilvan (site cut and mudstone rock wall), Healesville (deep site cut and footings) and Coldstream (site cut and pool dig), written from Chris’s own captions and photos, plus a Yarra Ranges page tying his area together.
  • The technical side, done properlyA sitemap, page by page markup that tells Google what each page is (business, services, questions, job articles), every page handed to Google through the sitemap and checked in Search Console. Mobile speed score 85 on Google’s own test, 16 Oct.

The Google profile

  • Pointed his Google profile at the websiteHis profile linked to Instagram. It now sends people to his site, tagged so we can count every visit it sends.
  • Fixed his services and categoriesGoogle had quietly removed Site cuts and Rock supply, the two jobs he wanted most. We put them back, added pool, dam and driveway work, and added 3 extra categories (Earthmoving Company, Demolition Contractor, Drainage Service). 22 services listed today.
  • Widened the area he shows up forFrom 1 suburb (Mount Evelyn) to the Yarra Valley and outer east suburbs he really works in. 16 listed today.
  • Kept it alive every week20 posts since 27 July, each built from a real job or a real customer question. 5 photos on the profile became 49. Both of his reviews now have a reply.

His own photos from real jobs. The same ones on his site and his Google profile, no stock.

“For a new client I’d do it in the same order. Get the website and the Google profile telling the same story, give every job you want more of its own page, then check the results the way your customers search, not from your own phone.”
