Terms and conditions.

1. Joining the Program

The Partner Program is free and open to anyone 18 or over, individuals or businesses. There’s no cost to join, no minimum referral requirement, and no ongoing obligation. Becoming a Partner does not make you an employee, agent, or contractor of 5 Star Tradie or Syddall & Co. You operate independently, on your own time.

2. How Rewards Work

You’re credited as the referrer when a new client names you (by your unique referrer code) when they sign up. Rewards are paid in stages, tied to the referred client remaining an active, paying subscriber:

Stages count paid months only. A refunded or free month (for example under our 100 Day Guarantee) doesn’t count, and that payout lands on the next paid month. Custom plans are rewarded at the Growth rate. Payments stop if the referred client leaves: you keep everything already paid but don’t receive later stage payments for that client. Volume bonuses (paid once a referral has been retained a full 12 months) and ongoing residual tiers are as published on the main Partner Program page, and form part of these Terms.

Anyone you refer also gets their own perk: half price on their first month on whichever plan they choose. This is separate from your Partner rewards above and doesn’t reduce what you earn.

3. When You’re Paid, and Bank Details

Each milestone payment is processed once we’ve confirmed the referred client’s payment has actually cleared, generally within 7 days of that payment landing in our account. This buffer protects both sides: it means we never chase you to return a payment because a client’s card failed or they cancelled immediately after signing up.

The first time a payment is due to you, we’ll email you directly to confirm your bank details so we can pay you. If a referred client stops paying us before a milestone is reached, we’ll let you know so you can follow up with them directly if you’d like to. That’s on you, not us, but we’ll always keep you in the loop.

4. Tax and ABN

Australian tax law requires businesses to withhold tax from payments to suppliers who don’t provide an ABN, unless that supplier is a private individual not carrying on an enterprise. Partners fall into that second category: you’re referring people you know, not running a referral business.

By ticking the sign up agreement, you confirm:

• You are not receiving Partner Program payments as part of a business or enterprise you operate; and
• These payments are private in nature, made to you as an individual.

This declaration is what allows us to pay you in full, without withholding tax, for as long as it remains accurate. No ABN is required to take part in the Partner Program.

5. Fair Use

Credit goes to whoever the new client names as their referrer, first name given, no splitting rewards between multiple people who claim the same client. Referral rewards apply to our Essential, Growth and Dominate website plans, and custom plans at the Growth rate; other products may sit outside this program unless we say otherwise.

6. Website for Partners

Partners can take up our Website for Partners offer. Here’s how it works.

• What you get. We design, build and launch a new website for your business and set up your Google Business Profile, with no upfront cost.
• Keeping it free. Your website stays free for good once one business you refer becomes a qualifying client within 3 months of your site going live. A qualifying client is one who has made their second monthly payment to us.
• At month 3. If no qualifying client has come through, and none of the tradies you’ve referred are still in talks with us, we’ll give you 30 days notice. From then your website is $118.50 a month for months 4 to 6, or you can choose to have it taken offline.
• After month 6. If there’s still no qualifying client, your website moves to our Essential plan rate of $237 a month.
• If a client comes through later. These fees stop from the following month.
• Referral rewards. Your first qualifying client covers your website and doesn’t earn a cash reward. Every qualifying client after that earns the normal rewards in section 2.
• Your tradies. Any tradie you refer gets a free homepage design before they commit to anything, so there’s no risk for them either.

7. Changes to This Program

We may update these Terms or the reward structure from time to time. If we do, we’ll give existing Partners reasonable notice and won’t retroactively reduce rewards already earned for referrals made under the previous terms.
